Title: Tld 50 problems
Post by: Mahiikilla on June 19, 2024, 07:33:23 PM
Hello everybody I have a tld 50lrs that I'm having problems with. I am noticing that the full drag is getting around 25 pounds while strike is only like 6. The drag ramp is crazy between strike and full. Anybody know of any reasons?

Thanks

Has it been apart at any point? The LRS reels do have a pretty vicious ramp on the cam.

Not that I know of but now that I rescaled I'm only getting 15 pounds at max before losing free spool

I figured out I am missing the lever thrust washer pn 352 would this affect the drag?

Yes, I expect that would throw the spacing of the drag lever/cam completely out of whack.

Sure enough it was that I found a washer for it yesterday and she's good to go. Thanks
