I put Daiwa SLSH handles on my GS reels. My 525 Mag has a Torque handle which is big improvement.

The Daiwa SLSH handle has a torpedo shaped knob like the old Penn's. Those flat rubber knobs that Penn put on the GS, and other, reels, to be polite, suck! The Torque handles with the egg shaped knobs are the best I've seen for the GS reels... YMMV, but not by much!
