A short clip of Ken fishing for halibuts on the Maiko.  Somedays are slow and non eventful as that's fishing.  This was a slow day,  we went to the wrong place for to try our luck.   Ken finally gets a fish on and we are happy with a dinner planned .
There was plenty of time to clean the deck and organize the clutter butt you can see that didn't happen.   Somethings should be left for another time.  Maybe next time???

Ken gets in a morning of trolling of a king salmon during a spring window of our section of the states management plan.    A fun day even if nothing bites.  Butt here is his prize for getting up early and its short and sweet.   We always made fishing fun.

Ken gets the net under my King salmon and the rest is shared.   We are trolling in the early springtime along the shoreline for feeder kings.  We get a strike and it's a fun battle using a mooching rod and hybred reel.    The lure is a King Kandy whole herring in a green offering.
Sharing this for anyone interested in this kind of stuff.   These fish are the best eating salmon period.   Thanks for watching....
