just some pico de gallo sauce, avocada and corn tortillas and pull your share of meat from the fish while its still on the grill
Love trigger. Caught and ate them most days in Los barriers. Went out in kayaks in front of house.

Yum, I keep any larger ones I catch.
How's it going Alejandro!
I got bit by a Trigger Fish as a kid at Hanama Bay Hawaii once.
I was feeding them frozen pea's and one decided it wanted a little meat on the side. Bleed like a stuck pig. All I could think about was Jaws, it was the early 80's, and I couldn't get out of the water fast enough.
Know that I know they taste good I'll get my revenge!

atop Mayo on a corn tortilla,
a pinch of San Evaristo sea salt,
Squeeze of lime and hot sauce to your liking.
Dinner is served!!!!

Alijandro,
Back in the day they sold bags of frozen peas at Hanama Bay to feed the fish.
Imagine a fist full of peas held high, you slowly open your fist and pull it down, creating a tower of peas in front of your mask.
Multiple beautiful reef fish go into a feeding frenzy before you.
One of those fish, for me, was a Trigger and it bit me.
Steve
These days, you need to book your appointment (and do it days ahead) to get into Hanauma Bay. They have very limited hours too. They don't allow people to feed the fish any more either. Because people associate the bay with feeding fish, they have a short demonstration and throw out a few commercial fish food pellets every day.
Triggerfish comes in it's own roasting bag.
Not at all surprised they ended that oc1.
It's still a fond memory though.
Now I want to eat one... :d

Steve & Steve, thanks for the explanation
