Title: Building Spinning Reels
Post by: foakes on July 16, 2024, 03:48:32 PM
In between servicing, repairing, and restoring vintage quality spinning reels for folks —- I am also doing a couple of reels per day that members might be interested in.

Since the parts inventory on DAM Quick, ABU/Zebco Cardinals, Penns & Mitchells is so large —- the procedure is fairly easy.

Just take a decent candidate out of the reel bins —- do a full disassemble, deep ultrasonic cleaning, inspect all parts and replace any worn or cosmetically deficient parts with new parts —- service, reassemble, micro-tune.

These reels turn out as new or nearly new.

And they will fish past any of our lifetimes capably and efficiently.

Did a bunch of Cardinals last weekend.

Doing some DAM Quicks this week.  221, 220.

Others to follow as time permits.

Best, Fred
