I have fished this reel for I believe decades and finally decided to clean, grease and oil. I have never taken this reel apart and probably should have left it alone as it was still smooth and quiet.lol Simple take apart and put together but.....turning the handle it feels like the main and pinion are not meshing tight. If I put some pressure inward on the handle it smooths out. I believe all parts went back where they should have been..but something is wrong. TIA for any help.

Maybe a shim washer not put back on the main gear shaft?
