Donny - You have been a great friend from my earliest days here and a great supporter of the Ohana. I "think" that in your neck of the woods that means you're a "Big Fella"? I really would like to get down there some day. - john
"Gift Day" sounds like something I would enjoy!!
Happy gift day !

Alright I'm gonna do it. I'm going from memory on a joke I last heard 30 years ago.
So a priest was transferred to the Vatican, and assigned to work the library. He found that monks were still copying books by hand. Some are copies of copies of copies going way back. But this is the Vatican library . They still have the originals. "It keeps them busy." A cardinal said when asked about it.
"But that's how mistakes are made!"
"Like what? I challenge you to go find one."
Later that night all across the Vatican they could hear him cry out "Jesus Christ are you f***** kidding me!?!?!?!"
The next day they found him dead at his desk clutching his heart, an apparent heart attack.
One of the other priests looked at what he was reading on the ancient scroll, and immediately fainted. The next one looked, fainted as well, same with the 3rd and 4th. By then the first was waking up, and a crowd had gathered. "What did it say???"
The distraught man looked up and said "the word, is celebrate"
BAD.... ;) ;D :d
Ay Mr Crab, dont need any rods n reels, I have almost 1.5 cabbage grates of reels to do up, n the wife is going crook about all the rods laying in the back yard, & I restored 15 rods last week, about 3 weeks ago, i set up a stall, and there was 82 rods for sale.
as I am having a left shoulder replacement on Friday, I should have plenty of fishing gear till I can get active again. cheers Don.
You'll have to send us Yanks some photos of a proper Aussie Fishing Swap Meet.
Good luck with the shoulder!
Thanks Steve, this market I attend, has about eighty stalls, & I am the only one selling fishing gear, for over two years, but money is getting very tight, inflation, is really creating hard times, the reserve bank has increast interest rate, also we have a massive shortage of houses over here for renting, So the cost of rent has almost doubled in the last 18 months, our previous government, was in power for 9 years, & only had one surplus budget in that time. when my shoulder start recovering, before I start selling , I will go down there & take some pictures, keep well cheers Don.
