Title: Worm Shaft needed for Calcutta TE 400
Post by: Lunker Larry on October 10, 2024, 08:24:31 PM
I'm looking for a worm shaft for a Calcutta TE 400. Part # BNT2706 or if you know of a substitute part I'd appreciate it. These are still great reels but parts are as rare as hens teeth. Will pay and cover shipping.
To our Canadian friends, have a great Thanksgiving weekend.

For what it's worth, these appear to use the same parts as the original Calcutta Conquest 400. I checked a couple of international sources and it looks like comprehensive support for both of those reels is well and truly discontinued. Many parts are still available, but the worm shaft is not one of them sadly.

Thanks Boon. I got the same results. Drive shafts for these reels is the same. Just kills me not being to fix a great reel.
