Lots of body shops use this.  It is strong, quick, and effective.  Wear a mask & gloves.

Best, Fred

If aluminum, then EZ off oven cleaner is crazy effective. Just gotta be careful not to leave too long or it'll remove the aluminum too.

the various Aircraft paint strippers, as well as Citristrip, will do what you are looking for (just like the caustic Jason mentions).  As far as zero elbow grease, if you are planning on refininshing said part, you absolutely have to remove ALL traces of the chemical and paint, or risk ruining any future finishes.  And that can be pretty arduous in its own rite....john

Exactly what I use. Aerosol can is best. Easy to spray onto parts.
Wash off after 1hr. All finish will be gone.
I've used it on a ton of resto mod reel repaints.
Definitely want a mask. This stuff will take your breath away.
Have not had it discolor any alloy or aluminum.
Metal will still need a polish, if going with bare metal look.
