What is Cheapest way to ship a spinning Reel Body-no rotor ,no internals ,no insurance?
Unless it's very close geographically Probably a small flat rate box. A small flate rate box also fits inside a small flat rate envelope for like $0.50 less 8)
go usps first class or ground advantage, using any small box.
if you have a paypal account, go to https://paypal.shipstation.com and click "Create New Quick Label." shipping through paypal is cheaper than going through the USPS website. the drawback is that there is no "address book" to save information for your repeat customers. i use this all the time. it's the cheapest that i've found. now i just have to figure out DHL so that i can ship overseas.
Alan,it's probably going to be a one time deal.Is there an option to prepay for return shipping & the guy can use the same small box? I will check it out.
yes, you would simply buy another shipping label, with addresses reversed.
1st Class Mail package was the cheapest--maybe still is. Limited to 13 oz. or less. Perhaps this was Alan was referring to.

the shipstation/paypal app lets me ship anything less than 16 ounces as first class.
My package weighs 6.14 oz came up $9 I musta clicked the wrong thing, will go back to it,had to eat :P
Ok with my custom box parameters plugged in it was $4.43,now I know, thank you Alan!
I just posted a cheque to gfish, in an envellope flat mail, know tracking number, to Koloa HI, it cost me $3:20, from western Australia, I crossed out or bearer on the cheque, so it has to go through his bank account to be cashed, cheers Don.
I guess USPS discontinued 1st Class Mail Packages and a couple of other package services and rolled them all into what is now Ground Advantage. The Advantage must be that USPS got to increase what they charge for a small package without calling it a rate increase because it is a new service.

COD
Cash On Delivery, making them pay it doesn't get any cheaper than that! :d ;D ;D ;D
