Title: shakespeare 2700 thread size

Hi
I need to know the thread size for the little bolt that hold the winding handle in place on the 2700
MY mates a fitter and is ready to make a bolt but needs to know the thread size
Can anyone help please

Greg, can you just take him the whole reel?  He probably has the thread gauges, micrometer, etc.  And, he can try it to make sure it fits.

Yep , that's what I did
It may cost me a flask of mr beam but I left it with him and said no rush

It's back
My mate tapped a new thread on the winder and fitted a Chinese reel bolt and cover
Very nice , now to put some line on and catch a fish
