Title: 110n drag issue
Post by: hrgriz on December 23, 2024, 07:14:17 PM
I purchased a quick 110n at a flea market. Everything felt good, struck up a deal for $20, and took it home. I then discovered that the drag doesn't function properly. I suspect pieces are missing, but can't tell from the schematic. The photo shows every piece I have. At a loss . Thanks for any help

Over the years, it is easy for those parts to get mixed up, David.

I see a few missing, as well as either an incorrect one or a homemade one in your photo.

Here is the proper mix, in order, and a schematic.

If you need some of these, let me know.

DQ 110N's are excellent little lifetime Microlite reels!

Best, Fred

Looks like I am missing two parts,34, and 51.Not sure about that hex made out of brass. I guess that, and the fiber washer were substitutes for the missing parts.
