Way to go now I gotta do a "chef" themed Abu reel somehow. The idea has been unlocked.

To me they are probably the best looking reels ever made.I can visualize the chef building an Ambassadeur like he cooks

I'm picturing his face on a sticker for the spool adjustment cap.

Another caricature of a Swedish person. Dumb, blonde and a goofy sounding accent. Are Swedes known for their cuisine? Doesn't seem like it. However, it is Christmas-time, but their favorite holidays dish is Lutfisk. The smell of that stuff being prepared will drive you right out of the house.

My cuz always made a mess in our kitchen when he was "jazzed up" :ct He looked like the muppet chef making cole slaw for our fish fry, wife made him do it outdoors from then on.

I had to google Lutefisk

They really are beautiful, the deep candy-apple red finish especially.

Btw, many moons ago, I had the good fortune to find this one at a flea market, it is a rare 4-screw 6000 that has a clicker. After this release they went to 3-screws and then all the 6000's had clickers.

Yep, pictures don't do them justice ! I read you can clean them with acetone? Sounds scary...I used baking soda, warm water,& a gun brush.
