THE PERSON WHO BUYS THIS REEL WILL SEND THE MONEY TO ALAN TANI FOR BRYAN'S FAMILY. I WILL BE TAKING NO PAYMENT FOR THIS REEL.
I have a Mag Power 970 that was fully cleaned and greased a few years ago. I bought it off of someone on Ebay.
I put in a stainless gear sleeve, a real 4/0 handle, and put a layer of clear epoxy on the spool where the finish was worn.
I have never used this reel since I bought it and upgraded it.
The stainless sleeve and the handle alone are worth more than the reel based on Ebay prices.
If anyone wants pics of the reel, please PM me and/or make an offer.
I would rather see this reel used by someone.

I confess I never heard of one of these reels so I did some research. Kinda rare- none for sale on Ebay right now, only four sold over the last few months. They dont go cheap. "make an offer" is tricky. Especially to a good cause. You'd think it would be less so, but history has shown otherwise. That's why Alan and team went and just set some prices on the boxes they're trying to clear out.
Your heart is in the right place. And we all appreciate it.
Post some pics and let it linger for a bit. These reels are rare and it will take time for the right person to come along. They go for over $200 on ebay and dont come up very often
:cf I have no interest in this reel , but this what I will do . I will put up a hundred , anybody who wants this reel , put a cherry on top and go for it .

The reel came in today , all I can say is Holy smokes Y`all fell asleep behind this reel .
There is not a mark or pit or scratch on this reel ...
