Title: Newell Handle Questions
Post by: MACflyer on January 29, 2025, 03:48:20 PM
Q1) Are all the Newell handles interchangeable from 200 model to 600 model?
Q2) If not all interchangeable, which models are?
Q3) Are there stock handles from other manufacturers like Shimano that fit a 200 or 300 model Newell?

Thanks in advance! Rick

So far my search has found all Newell handles are interchangeable with the possible exception of "C" series. Maybe someone here can verify that. Wondering if the small rounded area in the blank cut out, where blank mounts to gear sleeve, is to clear the c-clip?

Yes the round cutout is to clear the clip. A slight filing on a torium handle will make it fit a Newell. Been there done that.

Most of my 200 and 300 series have Penn Power Handles. The handles just need to be opened up a bit with a Dremel.
