Title: looking for 113h spacing sleeves of different sizes
Post by: steelfish on February 11, 2025, 08:58:58 PM
I'm the need of a  taller 113h spacing Sleeve than whats the regular stock size, I know I can add another pressure washer on the drag stack but was thinking to find spacers of different sizes since there are times/reels when a shorter or taller is needed.

I recall seeing this spacers of different sizes and even a really short one (it looks like a ring) and all of them fit the 113h shaft sleeve, but I dont know where they came from.  :-\

I found a thread were our Gary the buttman was trying to custom made some outta SS tubing for the same reason, but Im not that good on cutting SS tubing or any other kind  ^-^

I just looked and I guess they only have one size. I know they used to have 3 different height options, but now I only see one.

well, I took a dive into my old 113h reels, proGear, and other miscellaneous parts bins and found some sleeve spacers that fit 113h reels, as I said, I knew there were some of different heights and wall widths (thickness) but I dont know were they came from.

but I still have the problem of the star touching the sideplate when adjusting the drag, the taller spacer is to tall and the other are kinda short because I still have to fine tune with pressure washers or something the height in order to avoid the problem.  :-\

Is this for one that perhaps doesn't have a standard drag stack?

Also have top hats.

Try putting an extra keyed washer on top of the drag stack...or a cupped washer.

I put cupped washer on top of all my 113h drag stacks

You say one of those spacer sleeves is a bit too tall. I ran into same issue a few times, and took out my large file, and filed the spacer sleeve down

I was about to do that yesterday, but first I will check if a cupped washer helps using one of the smaller ones
