Title: Shipping from Alaska
Post by: nelz on February 13, 2025, 07:26:53 AM
I bought an item from a seller on eBay, he shipped from Alaska on Feb 3 USPS Ground Advantage, and the expected delivery date is Feb 22. Holy cow, that's gonna be almost three weeks! Anybody know if that's normal for Alaska to Florida? Sheesh, I've gotten faster delivery direct from China.

Yep. That's normal. Priority mail is usually a week or so; any other shipping method takes forever. UPS and Fedex are both more expensive and slower.

Bill is right, about 5-7 days for USPS Priority to and from Alaska.

I have shipped a lot of reels to and from Alaska —- and if someone wants a method other than Priority to save a couple of bucks —- I don't do that.  Ground takes forever.

Best, Fred

You will likely get it sooner.  USPS generally states the worst initial ETA.  So if it comes sooner, you are happy.

Keep checking the tracking (hopefully there was tracking) for updated ETA's.

Should be fine.
