Title: Plastic DAM?
Post by: nelz on February 27, 2025, 09:40:50 PM
I saw at the flea market today a DQ spinner that had a graphite body, rear drag, skirted spool, and the box had what looked like Chinese writing as well as English. Couldn't find any "Made in" reference anywhere. He wanted $5 for it but I thought, "who wants a graphite DQ?" so I passed on it.

It felt like a quality reel so at the end of the day I had second thoughts and went back to get it but he was gone.

So... I never heard of a Chinese graphite DQ... have any of you? (Should've noted the model but didn't, duh!!!)

Just found this on eBay, it kinda looked like this except the handle had a barrel-shaped simulated wood knob.

I don`t know about that one , but a dam quick 130 is a nice reel for being plastic .
I have two of them that came as bycatches ,one lives on the boat on a telescoping rod in the over head .
