Hi.
I fly fish for brown, rainbow, sea trout and sea bass. My lure fishing is mainly off the shore line for sea bass and sea trout. Boat fishing in salt water for sea bass, pollock, rays, flat fish etc. The big stuff is shark and skate. Thanks for the welcome. Michael.

Welcome. I'm a Michael as well, and also a retired engineer/manager. And I've been known to go fishing. I lived and worked for 3 years out in the West Country near Bath back in the late 90's. Wiltshire is a lovely place, lovely people, lovely beer, fantastic scenery and history. The people just talk funny and drive on the wrong side of the road ;D
Once went carp fishing in the Thames. With colored meal worms, a 2 lb leader, and a 25' cane pole. Definitely different fishing.

Welcome #2 from Florida.
I was surprised to learn that fish n chips isn't nearly as popular in England as it is in English and Irish pubs in America.
