Title: Rod wrap and finish station
Post by: quang tran on April 05, 2025, 03:13:41 PM
Just pull out rod wrap station that I made very long time ago
The drying motor made with timer motor and gear down more to get around 3 rpm .The chuck I bought from local tackle shop in Yorkville ,Ill .The drying motor part and wrapping part can be slice in slot to fit any size rod

Hi Quang —-

Well made rod winder!

If you could use an old vintage Thompson Rod Winder for holding a spool of thread under adjustable pressure while you wind on the thread —- here is one that clamps to your set-up.

It is made of cast iron & steel.

No charge & I'll cover shipping also.

Best, Fred

I'm not sure how to use that tool but I love antique tool .Don't send it now wait for a few day when you received the rods and I may want a reel with it .
