Title: Pflueger sea vue
Post by: Gregory on May 04, 2025, 05:38:57 AM
Hi
I picked up a Pflueger sea vue
It's all complete except the little grub screw had snapped
(Before I got it) and the shaft is still in the thread
Question 1
I can still give it a nice service without touching this broken part
Question 2
The thumb adjuster on the clicker side
How many drag washers should it have
2 or 3 ?

Here's an old manual  your list is on pg 21 similar to the Ohio reel schematic on 19.  I keep an Ohio as a backup, landed a nice Grouper with it a few years ago.  Dawn at smooth drag would probably be able to hook you up with carbontex drags that would work if yours are shot.

Can't attach the catalog here. Too big. PM me your email if you want the big file.  The Ohio is pretty close to the Sea Vue

Thanks for the replies guys really helpful
I am missing a 21 and 22 screw
(Behind the drag star and screws into the Bakelite and holds the winding mechanism in place)
are these the same as a penn screw ?
penn parts are easier to find in Australia  :D
