Title: Boot Modification
Post by: Bill B on May 09, 2025, 10:20:08 PM
To make the process of moving gear I found that having to keep track of 2 separate boots a Hassel.  So I used a 1/2" grommet kit and caribener to hook them together.

The grommet kit is available at the big box home improvement center and online.  It consists of a male and female brass grommet, a hole punch and 2 part anvil to roll the male grommet.   Just need a hammer.  I think it's worthwhile when moving your gear around.  Bill

Nicely Done Bill!
I usually just wear my boots on and off the boat because carrying them is a PITA!

Oh, forgot to mention, by using the carabiner to connect your boots, you will also have a carabiner to hold your fish towel on your belt :d
