Post by: foakes on May 21, 2025, 09:50:22 PM
Shipping a Daiwa Microlight & a DAM Quick 110N Ultralight to a good member today.

Finished up the DQ this morning, built from scratch with mostly new parts.

This is a high speed ultralight that only weighs 8.8oz, high speed at 1:5 gear ratio, holds 200 yards of 4lb mono, steel worm drive with bronze main gear, steel crank axle, all metal aluminum aircraft grade construction, adjustable bail release for hard or soft snap back, oversized main bearing, hex drag on both top and bottom of the spool, and it is nearly silent with the A/R clutch directly on the back side of the rotor flange for fast on-off operation, fold down handle & fold down bail for safer storage and travel handling, bail can be closed by reeling the crank or manually.

The reels are quiet & smooth, perfectly balanced.

Very capable, solid, and a lifetime reel.

Best, Fred
