Hey, all!
Since I recently aquired a near mint 1948 Rudipech Lasso spin reel in original box with manual, I decided to stripdown my user Lasso, again, which was nice, but finish was wore and I originally wanted to customize it, but did not, so...
Purists hold on tight!
After today's 2nd stripdown, I removed all old black finish and went with bare aluminum reel.
The bail arm would not strip clean, even with aircraft stripper, so it was left black. IDK?
No biggie, a bit of contrast, along with the spool.
Really shines, now and black parts and brass brightwork stand out, nicely.
I used my letter punches to initial this one, too.
This is my user Lasso and I love catching big crappie with this wonky strange, but beautiful French reel.
Hi Ho Silver, away!
I've never heard of Lasso reels but it looks cool!

Thanks!
Rare French spin reel.
I posted a video link of it in action, on my other Lasso spin reel post.
Looks great! I'd ah, ah, use it.
There's so many reels out there that I've never heard or seen of before.
viva la france
great finish

This one see use. My near mint with box and manual, not so much.

Thank you!
This is what I originally wanted to do to this reel, but since I only had one, I did not.
After I aquired the 2nd one, I went for it on my user Lasso.
Call her "Brigitte"!
