Title: Servicing Ticateam 12 RWTS
Post by: retiredandfishing on June 10, 2025, 01:21:48 PM
Have a request to service a Ticateam 12 RWTS.  Wondering if anyone has serviced this reel or another Tica like it. Not sure about parts support either as most reports i can find say it can be iffy.  Maybe someone has a direct line to Tica parts?

Both reels have issues. I'm not concerned really with servicing as much as I am with parts support.

Thanks, Steve

Hi Steve,
Is this the one you're working on?

I've worked on a number of different models - including the Team. They're perfectly acceptable in terms of quality, but fit in a different price bracket to the likes of Penn or Shimano.

Tica aren't far from you - in Washington:

Hope that's of some assistance.
Let us know how you get on.
Good luck, Justin

They are not sophisticated reels. I'd be surprised if they needed much more than a couple of bearings.

Thanks for the response.  Two are having clicker issues. Haven't been into them yet though.  Would you have a phone numbers for parts?

Thanks
