🙁This is so sad! I haven't been on the forum in a good while and I just happened to stop by as I was looking up info on a reel I was looking at. RIP Bryan

I still haven't taken Bry's phone number out of my phone. Was just thinking of him yesterday again. I can still hear his voice in my head, always followed by that little chuckle he had. Bless ya bud.
Miss you, Bry! Miss our conversations.
Be well my friend,
Dom
We miss you Bryan! Rest in peace!
Bryan is missed. It is comforting to know that he is resting in his native Hawaii. Dominick
I used one of Brian's Magnum Jigmasters this week on my San Diego trip as my 30 pound kit.
I showed it to PJ and other folks on the trip went out of their way to look at it. It didn't see action this trip, least not on a fish, but it and my 100-pound kit were all I used.
R.I.P. Brian, I sure miss our phone calls.
My son Oliver and I just had a nice conversation about Bryan as we used some of Bryans things to fish off the rocks up in Ft Bragg this week. We had to scale down some cliffs and scramble from rock to rock. Oliver was worried we would lose or bang-up some of the gear but I assured him that was what it was for and Bryan would have loved to see how big he had grown and to see him fishing in the ways he had loved.
Rest in peace Bryan.

Knowing that the final service over in Oahu was today, I was thinking of Bryan last night. I bought 5 of his reels several months ago. Excellent choices from the 1st, 2nd and 3rd generations of Spinfishers. A SS-7500 and 710-Z are the go-to spinners I use now. I never thought seriously of experiencing the International model line until I found out about his service 3 weeks ago and was musing over that Penn quality He knew about. Last night I pulled the trigger on 2 of these expensive models.
I was "reel green" and fairly computer illiterate when I joined this Forum in 2015. Bryan was the first person on this site to guide me along on my first project, a Jigmaster 500, as well as helping me with site navigation.
Stupid cancer! Yet another person taken before they could enjoy their Golden Years. Such a loss...
Well Said....
Bryan was a brother, his family are still our family. I think of him daily.
I had a chance to try out an old surf rod of Bryan's. Growing up we always fished off a boat or a pier, not the beach and this completely new for me. Maybe his spirit got a chuckle out of some of my casts ::)
I will see you on the other side my friend. :al
Bryan,
