Title: Any Updates on the damage to SoA?
Post by: Crab Pot on July 08, 2025, 02:06:04 AM
Did a bit of a search but nothing I have found is concussive.

I know there are some guys here who have spent more time on the SoA than I have on all boats combined.

i haven't been keeping up.  i took the cancelled trip as a sign.  rather than try to hop on a strange boat, i decided to just hunker down and work on stuff here in the garage.  the extra 5 days to catch up with things has really helped.  it's been much better for my mental health!

Yeah, for PJ and myself this was our only tuna trip of the season.

The Horizon was a very nice boat but a lot of people on her were scheduled to be on the SoA like us and said the SoA is the Queen of the Fleet!

I hope she's fixed soon.

Great news, it looks like the SoA will be back on the fishing grounds starting with an 8-day trip starting July 17th!

That's great!  I've been messaging a bit with Capt. Evan and he said that he was expecting USCG sign-off this week.
