Title: Xtreme REEL+
Post by: SushiKing on July 28, 2025, 04:37:20 AM
I have had a bottle of Xtreme REEL+ that I got at Hi's Tackle 15+ years ago but I was working on a reel and the bottle tipped over under the my table in the lube & tool container >:( Yup not happy but what little was left I put in a old TSI 321 bottle I have lost more of this stuff from tip overs than lubing reels super crazy thin stuff! My Curado baitcaster reels really like a few drops they spin and cast so much better. Does anybody make a lube like this?

Moved this over into the Tools and Lubricant's thread.
SushiKing - There is an exhaustive discussion of lubricants (some good, some not so good) in this thread, and it is actually a very great read (yes, somewahat long).  If someone does not have a specific response regarding your product (Xtreme Reel+) I am pretty confident that good advice is on the way from other Ohana that have experience with that product. - john

Sushi King - I did some internet sleuthing, and it appears that as far as I can find they are "no more" but I can be wrong.  So I am not sure that you can find/purchase that Xtreem Reel+ lubricant that you are familiar and happy with.  Since we haven't seen a lot of input from other members (and when I researched the oil it looks like they ended around 2012).  I am sure that you are totally happy with the lube, but it might be time to move on. - I would recommend the old standbys, many of which are in this thread.  Good luck and let us know if you have other questions - we will try to help! - john
