Maybe this is "the one". I've had many coolers for the yak. Too small, not configured right, too tall, stuck corroded-salt encrusted zippers...After everything is stowed away for a trip, there's very little room left for much else. Perfect size and flat shape. There's 3 flat document-like zippered compartments, when I might only need one. This one came with all the needed extras. On sale at Costco now. Made in Cambodia, from California Designs Co., which is located in Toronto, Canada.??? Surprised by the worldwide distribution of the Costco Corporation. There's literature for about 8 different languages with headquarters addresses from all over our "Brave New World".
:) It is a challenge to find the rite cooler for a yack !!
How many fish are you putting in there?

That`s for sandwiches and water . His fish get dragged behind the yack , to big to put in a cooler !
Did you ever look at or try Perception Kayak Coolers, Perception Kayaks Splash Seat Back Cooler - for Kayaks with lawn-chair style seats or Perception Splash Tankwell Cooler? Both can be found on Amazon, but may be more than you're budgeting for such item.

That's a great design. I would have trouble turning around that much, though. Mine will go right behind the seat, on the deck, with a lanyard attached next to me. I'm starting to have some difficulty reaching the back rods.
Also, I don't do Amazon anymore for ethical reasons. Missing out on some good deals all the time...
