Title: Looking For Spot To Fish Near Kenosha, Wisconsin 9/15/2025-9/18/2025
Post by: Walleye Guy on September 04, 2025, 04:20:38 PM
I'll be in Kenosha, Wisconsin for training for my job 9/15/2025-9/18/2025 and I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a place to fish nearby in the evenings.  Obviously Lake Michigan is right there but maybe there are some nearby inland lakes that someone can recommend.  Thanks in advance!

Roger that, thanks.  To the SW of Kenosha I see a chain-of-lakes which includes Fox Lake.  Any knowledge of that lake or the connecting lakes?

Kenosha have some charter boat for trout and salmon that we have fish there . Lake Geneva is my favorite lake for small mouth bass about 30 years ago . I used to fish on Fox river from Carpenterville dam and along theFox to the last dam ( Dayton Dam ) before it dump to Illinois river .
Illinois river have good number of Walleye and sauger . Below Carpentersville dam is good spot for walleye

Thanks for those tips.  I ended up fishing at Lake Andrea because it was so close to my hotel.  If I go back there for more training for my job then I'll try to bring a kayak next time.
