Hi guys,
I was looking at this new thing called Scotty Seeker and it looks like you clip it on the downrigger ball and then it shows depth, water temp and speed right away on the phone or on the screen, if you have the right one like Garmin or Simrad or Lowrance, maybe even Raymarine. They also say you can use four probes at the same time, but I dont know, does it really work well or do they get mixed up?
I like the idea because you can see the thermocline and set trolling speed better, but I am not sure if the signal really holds when you are out fishing. They also say the battery lasts more than 100 hours and it sounds a bit too much to me, is it really that long or not?
I was also thinking if it is worth more than Smart Troll or Fish Hawk, because the price seems higher and I dont want to waste money for nothing. So if anyone tried it, good or bad, I would like to know what you think.
Thanks and good luck everyone.
I can not help you on this but Scotty make excelent products.

In Europe it is not a particularly famous brand, quite unknown I would say, but for designing equipment of this type it is certainly a cutting-edge company.
