Title: Daiwa B-130 RL part
Post by: jalphabet on September 12, 2025, 12:33:04 PM
Got this reel when I was a kid and recently found it.  I'm looking for the little black, threaded, plastic cap that covers the hole opposite the reel handle when the handle is switched from right or left retrieve.  Can anyone advise on where I might find one or a suitable replacement?

old parts are tough.  southwestern parts in dallas might be your best bet.  214-630-8161  you will need schematics.  does this look like it?

I have hundreds of these.

If I have a 130 reel to do a bench check fit -- I'll be glad to send it to you at N/C.

Won't be until later today, or Monday -- lots of places I need to be today, tomorrow, and Sunday.

Please post a photo of your reel.

Best, Fred

Found a A-130 in one of the bins.  Cover cap should be the same as a B model.

Took off the cover cap and found that one of these new larger ones fit perfectly.

You can have the one off of the reel, or a larger one, or both.

Just let me know if this would work for you.

Best, Fred
