I have in the shop an older design Tatula 300. It has two screws on the handle side and the screw from the left side plate that hold the right side plate on. Got those off fine. Took the spool out and see another screw tucked away under the frame near the level wind that is holding the right side plate still. It has what looks like a hex head on it. I have tried my hex wrenches and others of that type tool and cannot get one to hold enough to back that screw out. The screw is mounted in such a way that you can't get anything to bite well due to not being able to come down on the screw head in a straight manner using a regular straight handled bit holder. It looks like a hex wrench should work so as to allow the wrench a straight on access, but I cannot find one that fits.
Any idea's. Am I missing something simple? I don't want to strip it out with repeated efforts using the wrong wrench.
Thanks, Steve
Maybe a ball head hex key set will work. Look for a set of them at your local home improvement or hardware stores. Something like the ones pictured here: https://encrypted-tbn1.gstatic.com/shopping?q=tbn:ANd9GcSl27PUbyNFgKgjtbXWtXk88dUnrljKgFj8zlZ6G-X49w7sdC3znafOJf7bSROkx-Gs1SNwyDcm_e8LB7HbpjViOdkgnLDN4_4G5bljdQ2YzsCaBvDvPNW-

Thanks. So the ball head allows connection with screw head at an angle?
Thanks, Steve

Yes, the ball-head hex keys are designed to allow you to drive the fasteners at an angle, in or out with an angle up to maybe 20 degrees or slightly more.
Thank you.
