Does anyone know if the fin nor ahab conventional 2 speed reels parts such as spring's etc are interchangeable with the Santiago 2 speed reels?
Thanks in advance
you'd have to pull the schematics and take a hard look at the part numbers. some parts will be the same, but i'm betting that the majority will not cross over. :-\

I haven't been able to find the schematics for the Ahab series of reels. Have the ones for the Santiago but not the Ahabs.
you checked with finnor directly?

No sir I have not. Finnor is no longer making fishing reels that I know of, only making sun glasses
wow.....
QuoteYes, Fin Nor has stopped making its iconic reels, though the brand continues with its sunglasses line. The company was sold to Pure Fishing, and after the acquisition, reel production was discontinued. Pure Fishing now manages repair parts for the old reels through the PENN Group in Philadelphia, but it is expected that the availability of these parts will decrease over time.
Reel production discontinued: After being sold to Pure Fishing, the company stopped producing its line of fishing reels.
Brand continues: The Fin Nor brand lives on, now focusing on products like its high-performance polarized sunglasses for anglers.
Repair parts: The PENN Group, which was acquired by Pure Fishing, is responsible for managing the remaining repair parts for older Fin Nor reels.
Future availability: The availability of parts for older models is likely to decrease over time.
