does anybody fish for crappie in winter
I try to...The most crappie I ever caught in my pond the guides on my rod had ice in them.Seems like the colder the better in my pond,summer time they go deep get lock jaw.Maybe at night its better but I rarely stay up past 9pm :fish
I do every year . In Texas they spawn in Feb - Mar ,I start catching them in Dec but this year I have not start yet . When living in Illinois I don't Ice fishing , Right after Ice out I start catching them
