Hey I just got a Quantum micro reel in a trade, and I can't get it apart.. I thought I knew how, but it will not turn loose.. I think the end piece should unscrew but won't.. It should turn to the right if facing it.. Left-hand threads... ??? I've sprayed it with 2 or 3 different oils, no luck yet..
Also I can't find a schematic on it anywhere... Open-face/spinning reels are plentyful, but no trigger release closed-face ones...
Somebody give me an idea.. I was going to give it to one of the kids for a starter reel. Got a 4 ft.8 in. Browning UL rod to put it on...
But I got to get it were the anti reverse will work right.. That's all thats wrong with it.. Spring has jumped some how and has no tension to hold dog gear in..
