Title: Ted Influenced Rotisserie Prime Rib
Post by: Crab Pot on January 30, 2026, 01:48:49 AM
Channeled my "Inner Ted" for some outstanding Prime Rib.

Some of the best I've ever cooked. Wanted to take it off the heat when it reached 115-120 but got sidetracked and by the time I remembered it was just under 130, and it was still the best I've ever cooked.

Can't wait to do more.

Since I bought the rotisserie, I've cooked two chickens, one pork picnic roast, and this prime rib.

I LOVE THIS THING.  :d

Santa Maria ?? Wasn't that one of Christopher Columbus' ships ?? Columbus never had a farbreware rotisserie

Nice job on the prime rib Steve. You're officially a master chef now !!

Heres what it looks like when you pull it off at 110-115°

I have one of those Farberware cooking stoves.  I don't break it out very often but it does a really good job on all meats.  It does a particularly great job on duck.  It also allows one to be able to save the duck fat run off.  Dominick

I've cooked a Prime Rib in a Ronco Rotisserie cooker ,countertop roaster oven, conventional electric and gas ovens... All were great but I have to say I prefer the Gas conventional oven.
