I've seen some Shakespeare Sigma spinners labeled as Hurricane and I seem to recall some other retailer-specific private label versions. I have to imagine Omori built them but I don't recall ever seeing a reel in the US market at least with any Omori labeling on it.

Shakespeare private labels are easy, there is a thread in the Shakespeare section about that. Daiwa, I wouldn't have a clue. I just look for raised letters on the shell as a sign that Daiwa might have built it.

Omori didn't label any of their reels Omori. They mostly made reels labeled for different/various companies. Omori's major self promoted reels were the Diamond series (labled) reels.

A simple Omori Seisakusho search will reference a lot of companies they made reels for.
