I normaly do not like "wide" reels but making the ultra narrow 349 a bit wider has been a thought for years. This morning I picked up a widened 349 that I will use along side my narrow double dog 113H for deep water halibut this season.

Is this the Newell conversion, and if so, how wide are the spacer bars? There have been several listed on ebay, but I've resisted bidding on them, so far. I don't know how much longer I can resist. ;D
