Title: Shimano screw size?

Anyone know the size of the keeper screw for the nut retainer on the handle?

most reel use M7-1.0 nut . thickness of the nut may be different

High Mark, I used callipers to quickly check the keeper screw for the nut retainer on a shimano charter special I had on hand, it looks like it's M2.5 x 0.45 thread - I can measure it a bit more accurately tomorrow to make sure - if you don't get a more definitive answer in the meantime.

This screw from the charter special handle is M2.5 x 0.45 mm - I measured it again with a micrometer and checked the pitch with a thread gauge. Also, as luck would have it, I bought a M2.5 tap a few years ago and quickly tapped a hole to check.
