Rattle-canned the blank with an undercoat of white to retain color; it's a bit brighter in person.

Well dang, that's beautiful. Well done.
Very nice
:) That is nice string art . Let`s see the rest of the rod !
Wow! Beautiful work you're doing there.
You will never lose it :D what reel is slated for that pretty rod?
It does look good !! Well done.
Cheers
Todd
You have some serious skills there Chad.
Hey mahalos for the positive feedback. I didn't take photos of the running guides, but it's the same color scheme with neon under-wraps on a black blank.
Rod is slated to be paired with the old Shimano Beastmaster 2-Speed; some of the land-based fishing here allows for the winds to take your bait quite a ways out.
Glow in the dark accents would be nice for night fishing ;D

That'd be nice. I've been searching for a long-lasting GITD thread that doesn't end up looking muted under several coats of finish. Hear the powder pigments are the way to go for night fishing.
The grand irony of GITD stuff is that it absorbs UV light and slowly re-emits as visible light.
But with UV inhibitors in the epoxy...
Incredible
it looks awesome , congrats
