Are you able to post a picture of the reel. Maybe I'm mistaken but are they nof different reels?

I'm fairly certain the bodies are the same, the spools are just different sizes.

How good does it have to be? I think I have a parts reel. I'll take a look.

After I read CincyDavid's reply I got off my lazy butt and looked at the schematics. I had forgotten
that those two series of reels used a detachable foot. Appears to me that the foot from any of the following will work for you.
2070
2080
2090
2071
2081
2091

OR

Not positive; I think on the 2071-2081-2091 that the detachable foot from any will bolt on to any other, but the leg is a tad longer as the reels get bigger, probably to maintain the distance between the rod and the top of the spool.

Have a 2080 foot on it now. Works, but it is shorter and will rap your knuckle if not careful.

Just compared a 2080 handle with a 2090. The 2090 is about 1/4" to 5/16" longer. The bends in it are also more open. Why not just shim under the handle. The screws are plenty long enough to add that much or more and get it right where you want it to be.

They are all different and have different part numbers.

2070....Pt# DA4826HV...plus it doesn't have the finger nub
2080....Pt# DA4795HV
2090....Pt# DA4705HV
2071....No Schematic Pt# shown
2081....Pt# 74-56-4795-02
2091....Pt# 74-56-4705-02

It appears the corresponding zeros & ones may be the same parts, just different colors, since the four numbers (digits) are the same.

Shim thing would work. Was hoping someone had one laying around.
