a local captain sent me this factory Seeker pinhead fishing rod, it looks like someone tried to add some clearcoat to protect the blank but did an ugly job (judge for yourselves after checking the pics), also, the rod comes with deckhand grips from the factory, the owner wanted to add a reelseat so, I had to take all the OG grip and install a new one as well as new reelseat, so, practially I peeled everything out from the the rod to leave only the blank, basically this is a brand new custom rod ::) , just one order from the owner, since this was a grift to him from a loved friend he asked me if I could leave the Original Seeker logo and the pinhead boy logo on the rod so, he can still see it as the gift from his friend? I have no problem with that I said.
well, time for the pics
Good man Alex. Dominick
Alex, your workmanship is top-notch, but your craftsmanship is amazing: artistic really. Causes me to pause, stare, and really take in all the fine details. Thanks for sharing.
Labor of love. It's easier to build from a clean slate than to renew an old canvas, and here you did both. Looks great.
Typical of your amazing work and attention to detail Alex. I so enjoy looking at your posts of your work. - john
Nice job compa Alex, what model pinhead is that? Those older glass pinheads have a following

I still can say, I like to help guys that cant afford a new custom rod to have a customized factory rod made on their color selection, logos, name, etc and see their happy faces when they finally have them with them.
