Title: SOA July 3-5 & 5-8th
Post by: pjstevko on July 02, 2026, 11:41:04 PM
Left Three Rivers at 7 am and pulled into the Sea Harbor at 1:15 after a few quick stops. I got early check in at the room was ready so I unloaded the truck then grabbed lunch from Pt. Loma seafood company. Grabbed a few last minute hooks and flouro while walking the docks. Went back to my room and mounted the reels to the rods and checked the drags with a scale.

At 5pm I'm meeting Mike Eggert and company at Miguel's for dinner. Mike is a friend of Alans and happens to be in my first trip so it'll nice to have some new friends on the trip.

After dinner I'll stalk the landing parking lots for a decent parking spot and hit the hay early. The boat moved check in up to 9 am so I'll get in line around 630 am after I watch the offload.

See you gentlemen soon

what a mess!!!  so, we had termites and had to get the whole house tented.  the crew started on monday, pulled the tent off on wednesday. and we've been trying to put the house back together since. we also pulled the cats out of kitty prison, and they're all mad at us.

i have today to get everything packed for the trip.  the easiest thing to do would be to not sort through the cases and just bring everything.  if you guys see me showing up with five cases and 20 rods, you'll know what happened.  dave and  drive down to san diego on the 4th.  dinner and drinks at miguel's!!!  probably a few more drinks at the marina. we board the SOA on the morning of the 5th.  breakfast at denny's on rosecrans if anyone is not too badly hungover. we likely board at 10am, leave at 11am, load up on bait and head out.  looks windy.    :-\
