Title: Spinners Made with 223/5.56 bullet for the body
Post by: joens on July 21, 2026, 11:46:40 PM
I put together some spinners using 223/5.56 bullets for the body. drilling the holes through the center was initially a challenge. 55 gr comes out to pretty much 1/8th oz .

Beautiful work, Sir!

I wouldn't mind losing a rooster tail, or a Mepps spinner that I bought from Wal-Bomb —- but I would be heartbroken to lose one of yours!

Clever & Nice...

Best Regards, Fred

Like 'em ! The hard part for me on spinner making is the wire.  Yours are as nice as any I've seen.

:)  yep ,I have made a few rigs with 44 and 45 caliber bullets ,Saltwater rigs .
That center hole is a challenge , but when there are off they do swim differently.
