Title: The rarest & most expensive Penn 109 ever
Post by: Maxed Out on April 26, 2012, 02:45:02 AM
Here's a one of a kind all red penn 109. I put this reel together with a stash of parts that I had accumulated.

The red handles are from the mid to late '40's and are ultra, ultra rare. The matching red plastic spools are pretty darn hard to come by also.

This one sold on ebay for about the same price as a 14/0 senator.

Wish I'da kept it, but hindsight is always 20/20.

Wow, that's nice.  That red is striking.  Well, if you kept it, it would be collecting dust and your wife would probably give your one more reason to hastle you.
