I Need some help with info on the cs650s. I was looking for a 40 lb backup rig on a 8 day nov long-range trip. Is this reel suitable for this. Any help would be appreciated.

great reel for a single speed. as you get older, you will appreciate the benefits of a two speed reel...... ;D

For me I like 3.6:1 better for bait and the 5:1 for the yoyo iron.
