Title: Penn Del Mar, 113H, and 990 Mag Power
Post by: john2244 on May 24, 2012, 05:02:00 PM
On top are a couple of Penn 285 Del Mar reels.  The top left reel is from 1939-48 and the other 285 was made after 1950.
Bottom left is a Penn 113H from the 60's, then another 113H with narrow Newell posts, stand, and spool.  A friend gave me
this reel and said he did the conversion in the early 80's and has caught 80# BFT with this reel.  The last reel is a
Penn Mag Power from the 80's.  This is a 990 model but has a 970 tag.  I have the spool out of the 113H as I am looking
for a spool in New condition.

Don`t see many 990 reels. Did they not make many? Looks like a good caster.

Nice to see old clean reels like that.
