Title: Seezed screw
Post by: coastalobsession on June 14, 2012, 02:04:23 AM
I have a screw that is stuck in the nut holder of a core 100mg. Any help on how to get it out!?!?

it might be best to cut a slot with a dremmel and then use a flat screwdriver to remove it.  call shimano at 877-577-0600 for a new screw, and maybe even a nut holder.

Yep, screw & nut cover...
That Cover will crack the min you try to do anything....
They are darn brittle.....

Soak it good, tap it best you can and try not to crack the cover...
Otherwise, do as Alan said...

FYI, many times the vibration from the dremmel will loosen it, then you get really mad!!!
