Post by: RANDERSON on June 14, 2012, 01:09:55 PM
Good morning I am new to your forum so please bear with me I rebuilt a penn 80TW (first time)I believe it is a newer moldel the clicker is a little longer than my other 80TW I have. Everything seems to be fine but the the real does not click with the cliker on when reeling. Seems to work fine in free spool. I added a new cliker plate and cliker what am I missing? Thanks for any help!

the most common complaint i hear about penn is the clicker is not loud enough. ive noticed that some are quiet when bench testing,  it seems that it makes noise with the drag set and line pulling out. set the drag to max then try cranking and see if it works.
